Visitor Visa

This visa allows people to visit New Zealand for a holiday or recreation, to visit family and friends or for short business visits.

Visitor Visas are granted for a specific duration depending on your circumstances at the time of application. They can be single-entry visas, permitting just one entry into a country or they can be granted for multiple visits should you have a necessity to visit several times within a specified period. The multiple-entry visas are aimed at business people, however, anyone can apply for such visa with a valid reason, such as a parent or grandparents.

Student Visa

A student visa allows the applicant to be able to study in a country other than the one in which the applicant is a citizen of.

The type of specific student visa depends on the duration of stays and caters to the likes of foreign students and dependent students. If the applicant is from overseas and is wanting to study full-time in New Zealand, he/she may apply for a ‘Fee Paying Student Visa’ that will normally last for the duration of the study. The applicant may also be eligible for the visa if he or she is a ‘distance student’ who will require to come into New Zealand for related educational matter such as practical work and/ or sit exams.

Work Visa

Work Visa gives an applicant the ability to take a job in a country, other than the one in which the applicant is a citizen.

There are different types of work visas. One kind may require the holder to have a local employer as a sponsor and to return home if he/she loses the job. Another visa would allow the holder to work in any job for a certain period.

Investor Visa

Invest in New Zealand

The Business Category and Investment Category of visas is aimed at people who have demonstrated a successful business background with a genuine intent to invest in and/or own a business overseas. Partners and dependent children can be granted work and student visas alongside the holder of the work visa and then be included in the residence visa.

Residence Visa

Migrate to New Zealand

A Residence visa allows the successful applicant to live, work and study in New Zealand. The Applicant will also be able to travel to New Zealand in accordance with the travel conditions that comes with the granting of the visa. Included in the application can be the partner and children of the applicant who are under 24 years of age at the date of the application.
